This first proposal video will surely put a smile on your face on a blah Tuesday (rainy and cold in Chicago)! This epic video is complete with a fully choreographed song-and-dance number, multiple “costume” changes, and circus performers… and I couldn’t stop grinning the whole time! This guy really pulled out all the stops!
Which reminds me…
Just a few weeks ago, I had the honor of being a part of a proposal as well! My husband’s best friend, Chris, decided to propose to his girlfriend, Donna, in Chicago’s Millennium Park in front of the famed Cloud Gate sculpture. There was no song-and-dance number (bummer, I would have been all for it! haha), but he wanted all of their friends to be there to witness this momentous occasion.
So we all gathered while Donna’s friend (who made up a really bogus excuse!) brought her over. Meanwhile, 25 or so of us witnesses waited eagerly in the distance and as soon as we saw Donna approach and the look of shock on her face, we bum-rushed them, yelling and screaming at the top of our lungs. It was rather hilarious, but we might have killed the romance just a weeee bit :) We even had the security guard lady (in the yellow rain coat) in on the surprise! This was all caught on video and edited by our friend John.
Forward to 2:45 for the real proposal action, and the “Awwwww!” moment!
