(In case you missed it: Part 1 of Sara and Chad’s wedding. All images by Jessica Grant.)
So where was I… The ceremony!
Sara and Chad decided to do something a little different. She started down the long aisle by herself…
And then Chad made his way from the front of the Church towards her…
And met her halfway. They made the journey down the rest of the aisle together.
So, perfect.
Of course, Sara’s fab sense of style also made its way onto her bridesmaids (sorry, wish I had a better close-up!)! Check out their black knee-length cocktail dresses (with various necklines), elbow-length opera gloves, pearl necklaces, black peeptoe pumps, and black feathery hair fascinators! Breakfast at Tiffany’s circa 2009!
The beautiful ballroom at the Woman’s Club of Evanston. The curved ceiling is my favorite part!
Sara and Chad took a sneak peak at the ballroom while all the guests were downstairs at cocktail hour, and they shared a romantic moment.
Sara was also a crafty, DIY bride… she tied almost a hundred of these tulle bows which my assistants painstakingly hung from every other chair, just to “dress” them up a bit. It’s amazing what a bit of tulle and a lot of elbow grease can do!
FYI, there was NO florist for these centerpieces. Sara ordered bulk hydrangea and almost a hundred glass candle holders from CB2 (I don’t see the actual holders on the site anymore) and my team and I assembled these centerpieces on the spot.
This cake topper is 100% fitting of their wedding day style as well as the simplicity of the cake design!
Do you notice something different about Chad? Yes, he changed into a white dinner jacket! Super suave...
I wish I had pictures to show you what a PARTY they had! Every guest young and old, made their way out on the dance floor and danced the night away.
The End… just kidding!
I have one more set of images from their day-after shoot which will blow you away! Stay tuned…
